Sitting on a moonlit beach one night in northeast Australia with my Kumu Lomi, he said “the body is the greatest vehicle for transformation ever created”. I felt that to be true from the beginning of my massage career, perhaps even my whole life. It just had not been articulated that way before. I believe, no, I know that the body is the key to unlocking the door to greater understanding of the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical dimensions of our lives. My journey of the past 20+ years has taken me from a sense of oneness with all, to crying alone in the wilderness, and back. In my therapy, the goal that I seek for my client is the same sense of coming home, peace, love, and the knowing that no matter what the circumstance, all is well and good.

Gregory both instructs and practices in the field of massage therapy and the healing arts. He continues his private practice Spirit Rising and is an instructor and student advisor in our
Abaton Center of Healing Arts Beginning Massage Therapy Program.

"My passion for anatomy and for spirit have led me to seek modalities that share my vision of the body/mind. Combining these two aspects in my teaching and private practice here in Albuquerque and in Lexington, Kentucky, allows me to create a unique approach to my bodywork sessions and my teaching in the classroom."
Gregory Goodson

Gregory teaches Physiology & Pathology, Advanced Massage, Specific Massage Techniques, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Lomi, and his own creation of work called Triad Therapy
