My first vision of opening a school came right as I started a massage therapy program. From there I continued my education and training, built a practice, and became an instructor; still holding that vision. In 2010 I got the opportunity to do so and took it. I opened Abaton Center of Healing Arts to provide a space for growth, knowledge, healing, and serving. Abaton has become a place that we have open sharing, an exchange of information, and that students inner intuition is fostered and encouraged to grow from the beginning. It is my belief that all beings have intuition and are capable to do their own healing. My intention is to unlock this potential from the first day of class.
I have been fortunate to that the instructors who teach here have as much passion for sharing their knowledge and experience in massage and bodywork as I do. Their passion for teaching and learning shines through and is infectious. As a group we have over 50 years of experience and believe that bodywork is truly a spiritual path for us. Our intention is to draw from this experience and passion to give you a deeper level in education.
I purposly keep the beginning program classes small so that a student can have the true experience of one on one instruction and have a quality amount of time to learn, absorb, and practice.
